See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil

by | Oct 23, 2015

There’s no reason why even your notebook shouldn’t be chic. Recently, publisher of elegant notebooks, Moleskine, collaborated with global ambassador of modern Chinese style, Shanghai Tang. From this exclusive partnership a limited edition series of hard cover diaries and two styles of notebooks were born — all in celebration of the upcoming Chinese Near Year of the Monkey.

A unique gift idea, the planners speak to the ancient pictorial maxim of the Three Wise Monkeys that, “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” It’s to be said that monkeys are a symbol of being of good mind, speech and thoughts – exactly what one needs when drawing, creating or envisioning within your notebook.

These stylish lined and unlined notebooks feature the Chinese character for monkey, while the diary includes three sophisticated embossed monkeys. All are infused with an array of traditional Shanghai Tang-inspired color combinations.
