It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

by | Oct 21, 2016

It may still be October, but if you’re a Neiman Marcus shopper, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The luxury department store’s much-anticipated Christmas Book hit mailboxes this week and it’s jam-packed with swoon-worthy gifts that are making us wish we still believed in Santa Claus.

Along with covetable items like Beats by Dr. Dre/Alexander Wang collaboration headphones, Dior lipstick, and Gucci money clips, the retailer’s 90th catalogue features its annual collection of “Fantasy Gifts” for the person who has everything.

Your turn to host girls’ night? How about splurging on “the world’s most stylish sleepover” at Neiman’s flagship store in Downtown Dallas? For $120,000, you and 11 friends can snuggle up in monogrammed Neiman-Marcus-print pajamas and enjoy cocktails by a personal mixologist, fancy snacks, facials and makeovers by Le Metier de Beaute, and a fashion presentation hosted by Neiman Marcus’ fashion director, Ken Downing.

Got an aspiring football star in your family? For a cool $65,000 you can treat your favorite athlete to a one-day private quarterback crash course with three-time Super Bowl MVP Joe Montana. The lucky recipient and three friends will spend a day training near San Francisco with “Joe Cool” himself and will go home with a signed football and selfie with the sports icon.

If you’ve got places to go and people to see, you might be tempted by this rose gold Cobalt Valkyrie-X private plane, the priciest gift in this year’s catalog at $1.5 million. The brainchild of aerospace engineer and Cobalt founder David Loury, it’s been touted as one of the fastest piston aircrafts in the world. The plane boasts a premium interior with hand-stitched white leather seats and rose gold flight controls and comes equipped with 24/7 technical support for two years.

In the spirit of giving, Neiman Marcus will donate a percentage of the proceeds from each Fantasy Gift sale to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation, which allocates funds to nonprofit organizations with a focus on youth art education.
