It’s that time again—Coachella 2017 is upon us, and along with headlining sets by Radiohead, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar, this year’s festival is shaping up to be one of the classiest yet. Gone are the days of mediocre festival food and rickety tent camping: 2017 offers a whole new kind of experience for music lovers with a taste for the finer things in life. From four-course farm-to-table dinners helmed by celebrated chefs to air conditioned Yurts with nightly turndown service, here’s The Agency’s guide to an ultra-luxe Coachella experience.
DINE IN STYLE → The beloved traveling farm-to-table dinner series, Outstanding in the Field, returns to Coachella for its fourth year with a lineup of celebrated chefs like Neal Fraser, Jamie Bissonnette and Alvin Cailan. The four-course menu will feature organic, locally sourced ingredients, including produce from County Line South Farm, located just a few blocks from the festival grounds. Tickets include a welcome cocktail and beer and wine pairing throughout dinner. To purchase tickets, visit Outstanding in the Field’s website.
RECHARGE → The combination of day drinking and dry desert heat can certainly take its toll on the body and mind, but this year Korakia Pensione has got festival goers covered. During the weekend of April 15 and 16, the romantic Palm Springs resort will pamper its guests between sets with daily yoga and meditation exercises courtesy of Ivy Park, mini facials by Skin Laundry, a pop-up shop and courtesy bar hosted by Topshop Topman and Coco21 cocktails, plus poolside massages, a catered brunch and music by DJ Avi.
GET SOME SHUT EYE → If you want to be part of the party without sacrificing all the comforts of home—or your favorite hotel—spring for a luxury Yurt at The Resort at Coachella, an all-inclusive oasis nestled amongst palm trees on the festival grounds. The air-conditioned, modern Yurts are furnished with king-sized beds, sitting areas and private bathrooms with showers. Fully stocked refrigerators, maid turndown service, a personal concierge, personal golf cart drivers, breakfast and Outstanding in the Field dinners for each night of the festival are an added bonus. For more information, visit Coachella’s website.
CHILL OUT → At CannaSpa at Coachella, a cannabis-infused culinary and spa experience presented by Culinary and Cannabis. Taking place at a private estate in Indio during the second weekend of the festival, the wellness and lifestyle event will feature yoga and art classes, a hydration station and four-course dinner by Chef For Higher. For tickets, visit its website.
SPIN ON → at American Express Platinum House. Open exclusively to Platinum Card members on April 15 and 16 at The Parker Palm Springs, you can burn off all those excess margarita calories with SoulCycle classes taught by founding instructor Stacey Griffith and enjoy DJ sets by Hannah Bronfman and a live performance by Bebe Rexha.
