Perched on a promontory above Hollywood’s fabled Bird Streets, striking fire features flickering against the L.A. skyline, Aston Martin Beverly Hills presented its newest convertible, the DB11 Volante, at one of the city’s most esteemed luxury residences, 1677 N. Doheny Drive.
The sophisticated architectural compound, represented by The Agency’s Paul Lester, proved the perfect setting for the grand unveiling of an equally sophisticated automobile. Complete with an expansive motor court and auto gallery overlooking exquisite panoramic vistas, the nearly 12,000-square-foot residence is a masterful achievement of concept and design, much like the prized ride itself. The sleek, British-engineered convertible boasts a bevy of cutting-edge features, including a “floating roof” that drops in just 14 seconds and raises at 16 while traveling at speeds of up to 31 mph.
In anticipation of the big reveal, dancers performed 007-inspired numbers while VIP attendees mixed and mingled between the home’s soaring, bespoke interiors and sweeping, city-to-ocean-view terraces. Guests enjoyed tray passed hors d'oeuvres and signature Aston Martin-inspired cocktails, including “The Vesper” and “The Volante,” while admiring the Vanquish S Coupe, V12 Vantage S Roadster Speedway, and vintage DB5 on display in the home's motor court and auto gallery.
“The Aston Martin event was yet another stunning display of The Agency’s commitment to innovation and collaboration in both the real estate and luxury lifestyle sectors,” said Paul. “Our success isn’t simply in selling houses, but in aligning clients with the luxury goods they embrace: houses, art, cars, fine wines and amazing food. In this case, all of these pleasures were tied together in one spectacular event showcasing 1677 N. Doheny Drive."
