The Agency recently joined The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce in saluting firefighters, police officers, and educators at St. Monica Catholic Community Grand Pavilion for their annual New Heroes Celebration. Each year, the event serves as an opportunity for community members, local businesses and city leaders to join together in celebrating the work of Santa Monica’s local heroes and honoring their contributions to the community.
Our own Keri White was proud to participate in the celebration, representing The Agency with a booth at the event, where attendees nabbed gift bags filled with The Agency swag. Among the recipients of the 2018 Inspirational Hero awards was Ana Jara of The Juvenile Diversion Program, Santa Monica Police Department; Detective Roy Brown, The Juvenile Diversion Program, Santa Monica Police Department; and Captain Paul Bellante, Santa Monica Fire Department.
“I am so fortunate to be a member of the Santa Monica community and absolutely love this city,” says Keri. “In light of the recent devastating wildfires in our nearby communities, events like these are invaluable in providing support to our local heroes. It was a privilege to be part of the event on behalf of The Agency and honor the individuals who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe.”
