by | Jul 10, 2019

From the rolling trails of Uinta National Forest to the calm shores of the Jordanelle Reservoir, these five studios, clubs and outfitters are out to get your muscles moving. Whatever your fitness fancy—high-energy HIIT classes or a long ride out on the trails—Park City’s offerings will get your heart rate rocking.

THE BEAU COLLECTIVE – Known as “BeauCo” to locals, this studio gets you to commit to 12 weeks of consistent 45-minute HIIT workouts—always with the same instructor and group of participants. It may seem strict, but BeauCo’s methods build community, camaraderie and expeditiously track progress.

BASIN RECREATION FIELDHOUSE – A true one-stop-shop for all kinds of athletes, the 87,000-square-foot Basin Recreation Fieldhouse is stocked with a range of activity venues, including a full indoor soccer field, track, pool, weight room, batting cages, indoor golf simulator as well as private rooms for spin classes, yoga, kickboxing and more. Prefer to get outside? Basin Rec also owns and manages nearly 2,000 acres of open space and has built and maintained 150 miles of trails.

SILVER MOUNTAIN SPORTS CLUB AND SPA – With two locations and dozens of amenities, Silver Mountain Sports Club is the perfect place to pick up a game of racquetball, take a spin class, kick back by the pool or head to the spa for a massage. It’s also got a stellar team of skilled coaches that lead everything from kid’s swim lessons to personal training sessions.

WHITE PINE TOURING – Before setting out to explore Park City’s more than 450 miles of trails, make a stop at White Pine Touring. More than just a bike shop, White Pine Touring also hosts free weekly rides, expert-led hiking and rock-climbing classes in the Uinta National Forest and stocks rental gear for nordic skiing, snowshoeing and climbing.

PARK CITY SUP – Park City SUP pairs a solid workout with some beautiful scenery. In addition to equipment sales and rentals, this award-winning outdoor adventure company uses the Deer Valley Resort beach and Jordanelle Reservoir to offer core-strengthening stand-up paddle yoga classes as well as SURF FIT classes to prime you for the summer season.
