The Agency Agenda Arizona: What to Do + Where to Go this September

by | Aug 29, 2019

Our picks of places to go and things to do to make the most of your month in and around Arizona.

CATCH CONCERTS HERE – Haven’t gotten your summer concert fix? Not to worry, the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix has a host of cool concerts coming up this fall. Catch Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter John Mayer on September 10, rock legend Eric Clapton on September 14 and London-born band Mumford & Sons September 16.

GET A TASTE OF ARIZONA HERE – On Saturday, September 21, head to Mesa’s Riverview Park for the popular Arizona Margarita, Mojito, Craft Beer, and Food Truck Festival. The event runs from 10am to 4pm and will offer over 40 tasting stations featuring handcrafted margaritas, mojitos, craft beers, wines and spirits. And get this—your $25 ticket includes bottomless tastings and an embossed tasting cup. Cheers to that.

FIND TREASURES HERE – Scottsdale’s Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market is a true treasure trove of unique and one-of-kind items. This year, from Friday September 14 through Sunday, September 16, the market will take place over 120,000-square feet of the multipurpose WestWorld space and will house more than 140 vendors offering all kinds of vintage and handmade items—from clothes and jewelry to plants, artwork and home decor. While you shop, enjoy live music and local food trucks. Be sure to bring along a reusable bag to tote home your loot.
