by | Dec 14, 2023

It is the most wonderful time of the year! And to celebrate the season, leading luxury hotels worldwide have joined forces with top designers and renowned brands to craft captivating holiday tree displays that seamlessly blend fashion, art and design. From the grandeur of Louis Vuitton to the cultural resonance of Lingua Franca, these enchanting holiday trees promise to immerse guests in the joy and magic of the festive season. We’ve gathered some of the most dazzling designer trees around the world this season.

Claridge’s x Louis Vuitton

In a much-anticipated collaboration, Louis Vuitton, a longtime friend of Claridge’s, has designed the hotel’s annual Christmas Tree for 2023. The spectacular creation pays homage to the shared history of both icons, founded in 1854, celebrating the Art of Travel. The tree, composed of 15 chrome repurposed trunks adorned with Claridge’s travel stickers, stands tall, reflecting the Art Deco architecture. At its peak is Asnières, the historic Louis Vuitton family home and atelier, surrounded by 21 Louis Vuitton Vivienne mascots. The tree beautifully intertwines the legacies of Louis Vuitton and Claridge’s, marking the thirteenth year of this distinguished collaboration.

Riggs Washington D.C. has joined forces with luxury cashmere brand Lingua Franca to unveil a designer holiday tree adorned with sustainably sourced, luxe garlands and custom ornaments. Lingua Franca, known for its slow fashion ethos, advocates for handmade, ethical products. The hand-stitched installation is accompanied by a Lingua Franca Cashmere Pop-Up in the hotel lobby, inviting shoppers to create custom cashmere sweaters and shop giftables, all in line with the brand’s commitment to slow, ethical fashion.

Pulitzer Amsterdam x ROKSANDA

Pulitzer Amsterdam and the elegant fashion brand ROKSANDA have partnered for a Christmas tree that reflects the creativity and craftsmanship inherent in both brands. Inspired by the work of Norwegian textile artist Hanne Friis, the tree draws from ROKSANDA’s signature color blocking and vibrant material. This fusion of fine art, craft, design, and fashion promises a Christmas tree that brings seasonal cheer and joy to the merging communities of both brands.

The Connaught x Dame Rachel Whiteread

The Connaught Christmas Tree for 2023, designed by influential British artist Dame Rachel Whiteread, stands tall on Carlos Place, bedecked with 102 circular neon white hoops. Illuminating the streets of Mayfair, the tree incorporates circles of light, symbolizing togetherness and positive brightness throughout the festive season. Dame Rachel Whiteread, renowned for her use of circular motives, infuses this design with hope and celebrates the ninth year of The Connaught Christmas Tree being designed by a celebrated artist.

Founded in 1889, Schumacher brings its legacy of textiles and wallpapers to add a touch of holiday charm to The Dewberry.

These designer holiday trees not only illuminate the opulence of the season but also showcase the fusion of creativity and craftsmanship. Each tree, a unique masterpiece, invites guests to bask in the magic of the holidays while appreciating the artistry of top designers and brands.
