Arizona real estate is making major headlines with multi-million dollar, jaw-dropping new homes hitting the market. These homes, replete with all the mod cons and then some, are adding to the appeal for people making the move to the state from across the county.
Jim and Marilyn Cavanaugh’s new listing at 6850 N 39th Place in Paradise Valley, was recently featured on Dwell. The Cavanaugh’s say that high-end new homes like this one are in hot demand with many current clients being from out-of-state.
“We are seeing an influx of people moving to Arizona from California, Chicago, Seattle, and New York,” Jim said.
Marilyn notes that they were starting to see this trend pre COVID-19, but the pandemic paired with the majority of the workforce across the country shifting to a remote model, has been the catalyst for acceleration.
Homes like 6850 N 39th Place are piquing the interest of the most discerning buyers who are price comparing to product in the major cities. The home, just under 7,000 square feet, boasts four expansive bedrooms, five spa-like bathrooms plus a chef-caliber kitchen, theater, gym, putting green, six-car garage and expansive glass doors that open to the magnificent outdoor living area with an infinity-edged swimming pool, heated spa, shaded dining terrace, sundeck and fire pit lounge. The cherry on top—sweeping views across the valley of the city lights and sun-drenched Camelback Mountain.
Another newly built and recently listed estate caught the attention of Mansion Global, who profiled 20724 N. 112th Street in a recent feature. The cosmopolitan residence, represented by Siena Dorsey, spans more than 12,000 square feet and also boasts incredible views. In addition, the home features a lower level that is designed with entertaining in mind. Among the many amenities are a walk-in glass wine cellar, an expansive media/game space, a separate home theater and an inside half basketball court.
"This stunning property is located within an exclusive gated neighborhood offering views from the upper canyon of Silverleaf and plenty of privacy," Siena told Mansion Global. "It is also just moments away from the best that Scottsdale has to offer including top golf courses, shopping, dining, resorts, and much more,” she added.
