by | Oct 18, 2022

The National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) hosted its 56th Annual Real Estate Journalism Conference from October 11–14 at the Westin Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia. Journalists from around the nation were in attendance for a week of panels, networking and tours of the latest real estate projects of the region. The Agency agents and bi-coastal public relations team were in attendance, with some of our own speaking as experts on two panels.

Nurit Coombe, Managing Partner of The Agency D.C. Metro, was featured on a panel that covered the topic of luxury second homes, moderated by Candace Evans of SecondShelters.com. In her presentation, Nurit covered trends such as Gen-Z and Gen-X investing in second homes before primary (with income potential), people rightsizing by decreasing their smaller primary home and doubling down on a bigger second home where they can spend more time. She also spoke to our global network and listings in some of the world’s most sought-after vacation destinations.

Chad Lagomarsino, Managing Partner of The Agency Atlanta, spoke on a luxury development panel, moderated by Ronda Kaysen of The New York Times. In addition to luxury amenities, design and architecture styles and trends of buyers moving in and out of cities, Chad spoke about new development concepts coming as a result of Covid-19. His recent projects with Jeff BealPersonal Warehouses and Stables Motor Condos—are adding 130,000 square feet of first-of-its-kind garage condos to the rapidly growing north Atlanta Metro region.

The Agency hosted the journalist-only cocktail party to celebrate award-winning stories to conclude the conference. Jeff Beal, Managing Partner of The Agency Atlanta, and Cindy “Rodeo” Steedle were also in attendance.
