The Agency Seattle Hosts Art Show Fundraiser for Giveback Homes

by | May 15, 2023

The Agency Seattle recently exhibited their commitment to giving back, hosting an art show fundraiser for Giveback Homes and their work within the local community. Nearly 150 guests were in attendance to support the charity with donations and admire the work of artist C.Bennett, who graciously donated 10% of sale proceeds to the cause.

Known for his “iconic Neo-POP” art, C.Bennett explores themes of popular culture using neo-expressionist techniques. Drawing inspiration from urban style and found-media, his subjects are as nostalgic as they are relevant, and his work has been displayed all around the world from Art Basel Miami to Shanghai. “My artistic message is without judgment,” he explains. “I intend my work simply as an exploration of dichotomy and an exercise in encouraging viewers to recognize the duality of all things.”

The new Seattle office is moonlit as the perfect gallery space. Attendees enjoyed drinks and light bites while taking in the art as well as the musical stylings of Vision Music Founder and event sponsor Winston McFarlane. Notable members of the Seattle community came out to show their support for The Agency Gives and Giveback Homes, including Jonathan Batista, Principal Dancer for the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Olympic long jumper Norris Frederick, Resident Artist at W Seattle Morgan Zion and Marshall Glaze from the cast of Love is Blind Season 4.

The Agency’s official charity partner, Giveback Homes, is dedicated to creating social change by building homes for families around the world. They partner with Habitat for Humanity in Seattle and numerous other cities around the country to organize fundraising events — such as this one — and mobilize teams of volunteer homebuilders.

Together, The Agency Seattle and attendees raised more than $5,000 for Giveback Homes. C.Bennett is continuing to leave pieces on display at the Seattle office through the month of May, so be sure to drop by 123 Lake Street South, Suite 123B if you find yourself in Kirkland. Special thanks to other sponsors of the event Danny Forbes of Caliber Home Loans, Best Buy Floors Inc. in Bellevue and Clarity Northwest Photography
