The Agency’s Dan Hershkowitz Shines at C.A.R. Winter Meetings

by | Mar 4, 2024

The Agency’s own Dan Hershkowitz, who serves as The Agency’s Senior Director of Risk Management, recently took the stage at the California Association of Realtors’ Winter Meetings in Monterey, California, where he was a featured speaker among industry leaders.

During the conference’s Board of Directors meeting, which included more than 800 attendees, Dan tackled the latest version of the industry’s Buyer-Broker Agreement, providing clarity with a touch of charm. Through role-play demonstrations, he underscored the agreement’s importance for both buyers and agents and unpacked its many nuances.

During his presentation, Dan talked through several more pertinent points about the agreement, including how having this agreement benefits buyers in today’s competitive market, and what considerations agents should keep in mind when advising clients.

From negotiating tips to emphasizing the agreement’s role in representing clients’ interests, Dan’s insights provided practical guidance for agents navigating today’s fast-evolving real estate landscape.

“It was an honor to represent The Agency’s nearly 700 California agents and share best practices,” said Dan. “I firmly believe that the best agents—our agents at The Agency among others—will thrive in this new environment. Change always brings opportunities for those on the vanguard and those best equipped and supported to adapt while holding onto their core principles.”

We’re so proud of Dan’s contributions not only to The Agency team, but the broader real estate community. Well done, Dan! Read more about Dan and his work at The Agency here
