MAURICIO UMANSKY & SANTIAGO ARANALos Angeles Business Journal’s highest-profile signature issue was released, featuring the L.A. 500—an exclusive list of L.A.’s top business executives. After months of extensive research, The Los Angeles Business Journal editorial team has named the executives they believe are worthy of distinguishing as the most influential in Los Angeles. In good company among exceptional leaders, Mauricio Umansky, Founder & CEO of The Agency, and Santiago Arana, Principal, were named on the list. Not only are they shaking up the business world, but they are making the world a better place, heavily contributing to The Agency’s philanthropic efforts.

NIKKI JOEL—Nikki’s L.A. listing at 1643 Queens Road was featured in The New York Times article on “$3.6 Million Homes in California.” This gorgeous, 1925 Spanish-style home includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a one-bedroom, one-bath guesthouse on a 0.2-acre lot set along a winding street in the Hollywood Hills. JAMES HARRISThe Wall Street Journal quoted James in their article on the former Century Plaza Hotel’s $2.5 billion restoration and redevelopment project. In it, James notes that “Covid or no Covid, there are people out there that don’t want a single-family dwelling. They want the security, they want the concierge, they want the valet, and they’ll pay to have it,” he said. “Did we initially see a migration towards single-family homes during Covid? In it, Rainy shares how a polished elevator pitch allows you to quickly and effectively communicate your unique value proposition, and it can also expand and elevate your business. From knowing your audience to being confident, here’s how you can make more of an impact with fewer words.

SEAN O’NEILL & TREVOR MUSGROVE—This dynamic Turks & Caicos duo had a big month, launching The Sanctuary, a $25 million villa development unlike anything the Turks and Caicos Islands have never seen before. Trevor has created history by being the first local developer to be a major partner in a branded luxury development. Sean commented, “It has to be said that this is a historic development within the Turks & Caicos Islands… this is the first branded villa development in the Turks & Caicos Islands which has a born Turks & Caicos Islander as its primary developer.” Trevor noted, “I might get a little emotional because it’s a dream of mine coming to fruition. This project is very special to me in a lot of different ways. I’ve lived on Venetian road for over 20 years; and when I first came to this site I immediately fell in love with it. SANDRO DAZZAN—Malibu’s 29000 Newton Canyon Road, an expansive estate listed by Sandro, was featured by Mansion Global this month. MAURICIO UMANSKY & JON GRAUMANDIGS Magazine covered 910 N. Rexford Drive, the onetime Beverly Hills residence of Hollywood actor Edward G. Robinson. Listed by Mauricio and Jon, the property wraps seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, six fireplaces, and a fashionably chandeliered grand foyer into its 10,000-square-foot floor plan. CHRISTINA CLAVERO—This month, Christina was quoted in Globe & Mail’s article discussing fixer-uppers as an affordable way to get into pricey real-estate markets. In it, she lends her insight: “We’re looking at prices for land to go up exponentially because it’s so tough to get a good lot.
