The Agency Report: The Year In Review, 2015

by | Feb 19, 2016

2015 was another record-setting year at The Agency and for real estate sales in L.A.’s most desirable neighborhoods. With $6.2 Billion in closed deals under our belt, The Agency is leading the way in L.A.’s evolution towards the American city. Valuations for luxury, single-family homes increased by 3.4% across all of Los Angeles, while sales volumes increased 7.8%. Condominiums recorded their highest price per square foot ever.

In addition to the outstanding sales performance and our involvement in half of the ultra luxury home sales on the market in 2015, The Agency was anointed as L.A.’s most outstanding real estate brokerage by the Wall Street Journal. With a staggering 13 agents represented on the Journal’s Top 250 Individuals by Sales Volume, CEO and Co-Founder Mauricio Umansky was named the Number 3 agent in the U.S. and Number 1 in California, nearly doubling his volume from the previous year.

Apart from our record-breaking numbers, The Agency hosted events in support of the Sundance Film Festival, sponsored eight farmers’ markets across the city and participated in a clean-up effort along the Malibu shoreline. We are always giving back, and we’re just getting started.
