The Agency is thrilled to announce its arrival in Pasadena. Beloved for its beautiful gardens, iconic Rose Bowl stadium and charming, walkable Old Town, Pasadena is L.A. County’s fourth-oldest city—and it wears its history proud. Pasadena’s historic beaux arts bridges, California craftsman bungalows and romantic Spanish villas serve as a reminder of its storied past, while a host of innovative tech companies, eclectic galleries and creative eateries are attracting a new wave of homebuyers.
The new Pasadena office will be led by Managing Partner Gus Ruelas, who brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the team. More than 10 agents join Gus in Pasadena with many more top producers set to join the firm in the coming months.
“With Gus, we have found the right partner to further grow our footprint in Southern California and launch in Pasadena,” says Mauricio Umansky, CEO and Co-Founder of The Agency. “He brings with him an in-depth knowledge of the local market and will assist our agents in serving our existing clients in the area. We look forward to growing our Pasadena presence with Gus at the helm.”
On Saturday, June 23rd, The Agency hosted an intimate celebration at Pasadena’s Arroyo Chophouse ahead of the office’s grand launch. Agents and staff from across The Agency’s L.A. area locations joined Gus, Mauricio and President and Co-Founder Billy Rose for drinks and appetizers as they mixed and mingled with their fellow real estate pros.
“I have long admired The Agency’s collaborative spirit and impeccable reputation as it has swiftly grown from a small group of agents to one of the most powerful brokerages in California,” says Gus, who joins The Agency after serving as Executive Vice President at John Aaroe/Pacific Union International, where he created numerous offices that generated more than $1 billion a year in production. “The brand and the team that Mauricio and Billy have built is one that is revered throughout the industry. I am honored to be charged with leading the firm’s expansion in Pasadena.”
“One thing that has been very important to us during our swift growth is maintaining the boutique feel and collaborative spirit of The Agency and partnering with individuals like Gus, who embrace our culture and will ensure it continues to thrive,” addsBilly. “We are looking forward to furthering our footprint as we continue to identify new territories in which to enter.”
The Agency Pasadena is temporarily located at 177 E. Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena, CA, 91105. The Agency looks forward to celebrating the unveiling of its permanent office space in Pasadena in the near future.
