The Agency Wins 3 Hermes Creative Awards

Creativity, innovation and collaboration are at the core of The Agency’s culture and core values, which is why we are so proud to share that our talented in-house team of PR pros has been acknowledged with three Hermes Creative Awards—two Platinum Awards and one Gold Award. 

The competition judges for the Hermes Creative Awards convene annually to evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos and advertising, marketing and communication programs. Winners range in size from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.

Platinum Awards 

The Agency PR Team earned two prestigious Platinum Awards—one for the media coverage secured around The Agency’s global growth and a second for our press campaign for Buying Beverly Hills. 

 

Our Global Growth 

Throughout 2022, The Agency PR Team conducted a comprehensive public relations and communications campaign to introduce 24 new franchise and corporate offices to The Agency’s burgeoning global network—making it one of the fastest-growing luxury boutique brokerages in the world.

The collaborative campaign included introductory training meetings with managing partners around the world, developing media assets in preparation for the various launches, and extensive media relations campaigns that included outreach to local, national, international and trade publications. The Agency PR Team’s efforts resulted in hundreds of press placements and grand opening events that garnered impactful awareness for The Agency brand in new markets around the globe.

Our in-house team also secured over 250 articles across national and trade publications, including features in Inman, The Real Deal, RealTrends, Robb Report and Newsday, amounting to millions in ad value. Additionally, the team secured coverage for our CEO, Mauricio Umansky, as a thought leader on growth and business strategy in publications such as Entrepreneur, Worth and more, even as the housing market and global economies slowed towards the end of 2022.

 

The Agency’s Debut on Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills

In November 2022, The Agency’s occu-soap series, Buying Beverly Hills, premiered on Netflix to global excitement. With an eye towards building interest and anticipation, The Agency PR Team conducted over 100 interviews leading up to the launch, which resulted in over 100 articles published in national and international media with a combined unique audience of over 4.9 Billion, nearly 7M views, plus comments and likes on the coverage—all worth hundreds of thousands in ad value. As a result, Buying Beverly Hills quickly rose to the streaming service’s Top 10 most-watched shows in the U.S., Canada and nations worldwide.

The Agency’s PR team also worked closely with the firm’s in-house creative team to amplify coverage through our company’s platforms, such as The Agency’s blog, global newsletter and social media.

These efforts to market and raise awareness of the show were so effective in coalescing global interest and a worldwide audience that in April of 2023, Netflix chose to renew Buying Beverly Hills for a second season, which will air later this year.

 

Gold Award

The Agency received a Gold Award for our editorial coverage in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which featured the firm’s acquisition of Triplemint, a technology-powered, NYC-based firm. 

The Agency PR Team secured an extensive feature on the Chamber of Commerce’s digital platforms and a full interview with our CEO, Mauricio Umansky on how The Agency is driving its next phase of growth amid digital disruption and leading the way for the real estate industry. 

The feature outlines how The Agency—which they call a “white glove real estate disruptor”—has tapped tech to elevate agent user experience, improve communication and expand around the globe. 

The Chamber of Commerce’s “CO— Exclusives: Insider Strategies” column highlights how today’s boundary-breaking brands and startups are solving today’s biggest business challenges. CO— shares advice from founders and top executives on how to thrive in an ever-evolving business world.
