by | Dec 19, 2022

Further proof that we only get better with age. The Agency’s Principal and Managing Partner, Santiago Arana and Jon Grauman, Director of the Estates Division and part of Bond Collective, have been named among Los Angeles Business Journal’s Leaders of Influence: Thriving in Their 40s, which recognizes influential business owners and executives in their 40s who excel as leaders and inspire others.

“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside my dear friend, Santiago, on this prestigious list of professionals,” said Jon. “Thank you to my colleagues, clients, friends and family—you’ve all made it possible for me to have continued success in my career!” Recognized by The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Magazine and several other media outlets as one of the leading agents in the local L.A. market, Jon has closed over one billion dollars in career sales to date. In 2021, Jon and Adam Rosenfeld led their team to over $692 million in sales, ranking them among the top teams in L.A. and nationwide. In 2019, Jon sold 822 Sarbonne Road for $75 Million, achieving one of the highest sales in the history of Los Angeles.

“This is an incredible acknowledgment and a wonderful way to close out 2022,” said Santiago. “It also further motivates me to reach higher and continue striving to provide my clients the best service imaginable.” Ranked the #6 real estate agent in the country, Santiago Arana has closed billions of dollars of real estate across Los Angeles, taking his place among the most distinguished professionals in the industry. Part of a power trio that includes Billy Rose and Mauricio Umansky, Santiago joined The Agency in 2014 as Principal and Partner. Santiago spearheaded the company’s Westside expansion as Managing Partner of the Brentwood and Pacific Palisades offices. To date, he has closed over $4 billion in real estate, netting nearly $2.5 billion in sales volume from 2017-2021.

In addition to these acknowledgments, The Agency was nominated for LABJ’s International Business Award, which celebrates outstanding corporate leaders who are leading the way in global trade, investment, technology and innovation across multiple industries and categories—including iconic brands like Red Bull and Honest Company. The Agency has become even more of a global entity over the past year, rapidly expanding its presence across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe—making it one of the fastest-growing luxury boutique brokerages in the world. In the past 12 months, The Agency has opened 24 new corporate and independently owned offices in seven countries—and counting.

Be sure to pick up the Los Angeles Business Journal’s December 19th issue, which will feature profiles on Santiago and Jon, highlighting their career, attributes and accomplishments.
