There’s plenty to celebrate this time of year. And we’re not just talking about the holidays. With new offices opening all over the world, our agents making record-breaking sales and further investment in bringing innovation to the real estate industry, we’re taking a moment to celebrate our team’s flurry of headline-making successes this December.   

 

Global 

Manuel Sanchez’s listing in Rancho San Fe’s The Covenant neighborhood was featured in The Wall Street Journal for an article exploring the rising popularity of stained glass. Co-Founder and Vice Chairman Billy Rose and The Agency Development Group’s Michelle Montany provided their perspective on the aspirational asking prices in the L.A. luxury condo market for a piece in The Wall Street Journal

President Rainy Austin authored a piece for Inman on the telltale signs it’s time for a marketing refresh and how to stay competitive in a rapidly changing industry. 

The Real Deal reported that some key players at The Agency have invested in Domicile: Game of Homes, a free app-based game that tests users’ knowledge on homes pricing and real estate trivia. Mauricio Umansky, Adam Rosenfeld, and Sandro Dazzan immediately recognized the potential to promo listings and crowdsource market data.

Texas

NFL players turned-real estate-pros MJ McFarland and Peyton Thompson were profiled in Tribeza: Austin Curated for the impact they’re making off the field in the local community. Find them on page 34. 

 

Montana

According to Mansion Global, an influx of federal funding will cause select real estate markets to boom. Managing Partner of The Agency Bozeman Joy Vance told the publication that she expects exponential growth, and Bozeman is prepared for it. “We’re in a huge valley floor with the ability to grow upward,” she explains. “Ten years ago, people said prices in Bozeman were getting crazy…and they’ll say the same thing in 15 years.”

 

Arizona

The New York Times compared $2.5M homes in California and Arizona, and one of Adrian Heyman’s listings in Scottsdale — 11393 E Sorrel Lane —  made the cut. 

 

California

Robb Report and Mansion Global both featured Farrah Brittany’s listing at 2172 Coldwater Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills. The century-old home was lovingly reimagined byTaylor Hahn and Amanda Leigh of House of Rolison to maintain its soul. View photos and all the listing details here.  

The Real Deal reported that Carmine Sabatella, star of HGTV’s Inside Out, recently joined The Agency’s Sabatella-Delair Group. 

Sara Joata, Daniel Stevenson, Philip Caruso and Michael Caruso closed a record-breaking sale for Newport Beach’s interior streets, as reported in the Orange County Business Journal

Levon Arzumanyan earned a mention in a New York Times piece comparing $1.7M homes across California and featuring one of his listings, midcentury-modern home designed by famed architect Harry Gesner and hand-constructed by Norwegian boatbuilders. The owners knew they had a gem, so it’s now available for rent. Get all the detail here

Mauricio Umansky and Zach Goldsmith’s gorgeous new $45M listing – a one-of-a-kind spec home once owned by legendary Hollywood actress Claudette Colbert – earned a feature in Robb Report

 

Florida

The Real Deal and South Florida Agent Magazine both shared the news that Sharon Beck, who has sold more than $200M in real estate since 2021, has joinedThe Agency Miami. 

Daniel Tzinker, a Broker Associate at The Agency Miami and investor in Armani Casa in Sunny Isles Beach, appeared in The Messenger for a piece detailing the rise in luxury branded residences. “[The Armani name] added a lot of value to the building,” he explained. 

East Sister Rock Island, a breathtaking oasis in the Florida Keys represented by Ember Duran, was featured in Dwell. In addition to its 1.37 acres and 800 feet of water frontage, the property also boasts offshore island status with grandfathered building rights. See the listing details here

 

Colorado

Led by Jay Hebb, Kacey Bingham and Jared Blank, The Agency Boulder recently opened its doors, increasing our Colorado office count to four. Read more about the team in this Denver Business Journal exclusive.

Lauren Bullard and Chris Flynn both had (recently sold!) listings featured in a Mansion Global article highlighting imaginative remodels in the Rocky Mountains. 

 

Oregon

JP Faherty spoke with Mansion Global about his listing in Warrenton. The residence — a celebration of coastal views designed by architect Paul McKean — recently sold over asking price. 

 

New York

The Real Deal reported that Tyler Whitman holds the listing for 15 Central Park West, a $48M penthouse located in the iconic “Limestone Jesus” building that was once owned by Sting. View all the photos of this breathtaking residence here

Pricey Pads ran a feature on 48 Commerce Street, a luxurious five-story townhome built on land once owned by Queen Anne and situated on one of the most iconic streets in the West Village. Michael Biryla holds the listing.  

Long Island Business News reported that The Agency opened its fourth local office under the adept leadership of Managing Partners Michael Smith and Donald Mastroianni.  “Our strategic growth on Long Island has been remarkable, largely attributed to our collaboration,” as stated by Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky.

Ohio

Nick Zawitz, Managing Partner of The Agency Cleveland, earned a feature in Inman’s “Broker Spotlight” series, where he shared his industry tips and predictions for the market in 2024.
