The Agency kicked off 2020 as one of the world’s most followed residential brokers on social media, a position that served our agents and clients well in a socially distant world. Home buyers and sellers took to social media in droves, with the platform accounting for millions of dollars in sales in 2020. Video-led tours on our Instagram @TheAgencyRE, which used to garner 5,000 views, were exceeding 140,000 views. And all those looks and likes directly translated to contracts that were e-signed, sealed and delivered. Agents hosted virtual open houses via Instagram Live, while clients used social media to directly contact agents, whether interested in buying or selling. Here, we share some of the social media highlights from the year 2020.
